Roskva is a side-scrolling tug-of-war game where the player is a sentient, magic sword on a battlefield. As the sword, you can be picked up by both allies and enemies. The goal of the game is to strategically use your magic abilities to help your allies push the enemy forces back into their fort, while simultaneously preventing the enemies from pushing your allies into theirs.

The art is really good and it's a fun concept. I wish allies wouldn't retreat right away when they get the sword because it feels hard to make them attack but I understand they have to back up for balance/keep it engaging. Really impressive for the time though to have so many enemies/troops. (What do the angel/healers do?)

Thanks so much for checking it out and for the feedback! The healers were originally going to keep their distance and heal allies, but we ran out of time, unfortunately.

The units walking backwards was a half-implemented feature where if your side's "knight" unit was still alive and inactive, they would walk the sword to them. The knight would then advance down the battlefield. Unfortunately, it's not working as intended, and units will just walk backwards to their deaths. ^_^;

Thanks again for the kind words!

Spamming duck is my new favorite thing. I love the art and how many different characters there were in the game. It did take me a while to realize that I was accidentally hitting my allies when the skeleton picked me up. I also thought WASD was not working for me, but it seems I just needed to hold down the key for a while, so I think making the directions respond a bit quicker could help with that. Second the mention of the ally walking backwards off a cliff, but it was pretty funny when it happened. Overall, this was a cool concept and I enjoyed playing it!

Cool concept, but I thought I could choose a side lol First thing I saw was a skeleton and I wanted to join that side.. "A sentient sword has no side," I thought.

By the time I realized some were allies it was too late. Also, whenever an ally grabs me, they just back away until they fall off the cliff lol

Thank you so much for taking the time to play!! I really like the idea of choosing a side in the beginning, and im really excited you like my skeletons haha. I like their handkerchiefs. We definitely gotta fix that bug you mentioned for sure. If we move it forward! Thanks so very much for playing. :)
